We created a news app that focuses on delivering regional and local news depending on location. For the hackathon, the scope of our app is tied to the Rio Grande Valley (RGV).
"MiDerechoApp" helps workers understand their FMLA rights in plain English and Spanish - so they never lose their job because they didn't know they were protected.

RGV Tutor is an offline-first Flutter study app with quizzes, skill tracking, library, and a local AI Helper Bot (Ollama). It supports planning, quizzes, flashcards, and sharing no API keys needed.
